Irene started her career in Sales and Marketing way back in the 90's. During one of the many economic downturns she was recruited to be a recruiter. Thinking she would take the job while finding something in Sales or Marketing, she ended up falling in love with all things Human Resources. Irene realized she was able to be the HR person that she needed when she was on the "other side". Since then, Irene has worked with many cyber security, and cloud based organizations such as Kaspersky, Globalscape, and CloudLinux.
Irene brings a deep level of empathy for non-HR people and their honest desires to build a career with meaning. Irene pulls from her Sales and Marketing experience to create a real HR organization wherever she goes. Her HR strategy approach is to look at the current employee lifecycle, identify the breaks in the system, and fix them to create a world class HR department. Irene believes HR should never be hung up on policies and process but on building a team that grows and feels connected to the organization. Her work as an HR Consultant focuses on creating and implementing a strategic plan that moves the organization and their teams to meet their goals.
